Mefloquine is an orally-administered antimalarial drug used as a prophylaxis against and treatment for malaria. It also goes by the trade name Lariam (manufactured by F. Hoffmann-La Roche) or Mefaquin and chemical name mefloquine hydrochloride (formulated with HCl).
